There has been a traffic fatality in Calaveras County, according to the C.H.P.
A person on a motorcyle was killed after striking a tree on Lily Gap Road, east of West Point, CA.
The accident was first reported at 5:06pm on Sunday.
The name of the victim has not yet been released, pending notification of famlily. Details of the accident, have not been released.
