Dixie Hukari, BSN, MSN, is the Executive Director of Quality Management at Sonora Regional Medical Center. She received a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from San Jose State University and her master’s from the University of California, San Francisco. Dixie is also certified as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality and Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management. Dixie worked for Modesto Junior college then as a clinical instructor in the Columbia College Cardiac Rehabilitation Program. She moved to Sonora in the fall of 1974 and has never left. Dixie’s tenure in healthcare totals 41 years, 39 of them with Sonora Regional Medical Center.
