Sonora, Ca — A non-profit children´s theatre is being established in Sonora.

Bonnie Cerruti is one of the organizers, and says the first sessions are actively being organized. She says, “the first classes are set up for February 12th. This is going to be an introductory session. It will go for eight weeks, and each week has four hours of instruction. There´s a lot of information for the kids and it should be a lot of fun.”

At least initially, there will not be a central location for the Sonora Children´s Theatre. Cerruti says it is an effort to keep the costs down.

The organization is designed for youth ages five through high school. Currently the group is in the midst of a fund drive to offset the cost of tuition and to help pay the start up fees.
