Vallecito, CA — Next Tuesday´s General Election will decide if one local school board gets two new board members.

Three positions are open on the five-member Vallecito Union School District Board of Trustees. Only two opponents have filed against the seated incumbents.

Incumbents Jill Bray, Felice Cizmich and Ralph Emerson, all from Murphys, are being challenged by Warren Alford of Avery and Michael Milward of Arnold.

The district has three schools with approximately 910 students; Hazel Fischer and Michelson elementary schools and Avery Middle School.
