San Andreas, CA — Tuesday some Calaveras County voters will decide who should represent them on the county Board of Supervisors.

District 5 Supervisor Victoria Erickson of Valley Springs is seeking another term and is being challenged by Russ Thomas of Copperopolis.

Thomas earned 41 percent of the vote during the primary election while Erickson received 36 percent.

Erickson says her experience over the last four years has served her well and will do so for the next four years.

Thomas says anybody who looks at the candidates´ life experience should know he could represent them better.

District 5 covers Copperopolis, Rancho Calaveras and Jenny Lind.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
