Sonora, CA — A couple of Mother Lode motorists found themselves behind bars in the County Jail rather than watching the 43rd Super Bowl game played in Tampa, FL Sunday.

Those two individuals have been identified as 29 year old Daniel Lee Armbright of Tuolumne. He was arrested at 12:05 Sunday afternoon. Arrested at 2:40 Sunday afternoon was 67 year old Lester Anthony Catanese of Modesto.

CHP Officer Tom Wills states that both men are facing fines and expenses that will total between $10-12,000. They are also facing a couple of days in jail.

There was not a single Sunday afternoon D.U.I. arrest in Calaveras County.
