Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office was called to Serrano Rd. late Wednesday night regarding an assault.

A victim stated that he was visiting friends when he was attacked by several people and hit in the head with a rock.

Sheriff’s Office Detectives conducted an investigation and arrested two suspects, Anthony Richter and Justin Mendenhall.

The victim was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center where he was treated for multiple injuries.
