Sonora, CA — C.D.F. personnel fought three fires in the Mother Lode Monday.
The first occured at 12:09pm on Table Mountain Rd. in the Jamestown area. There was a reported $1,000 damage to a garage. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
The second fire took place on Quail Glen Rd. in the Tuolumne City area. An outbuilding valued at $500 was completely destroyed. Cause of the fire has been listed as an electrical malfunction.
During the late afternoon an arsonist set a fire at Hwy. 4 and Rolleri Bypass. The fire burned six acres. Fighting the blaze: seven engines, one water tender, one air attack, one helicopter, two air tankers and one crew.
