Sonora, CA — 41 year old Shawn Boles of Sonora suffered a possible broken left arm, neck, shoulder and back pain when he was hit by a vehicle while in the S. Washington Street-Church Street crosswalk Wednesday afternoon at 3:30.

Boles was hit by a 2001 Kia driven by 53 year old Marsha Dixon of Columbia who told investigating officers she did not see the pedestrian.

Boles was transported by ambulance to Sonora Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.

Chief Mark Stinson commented that the investigation is continuing.
