Angels Camp, CA — Developers building within the Bret Harte Union High School District are going to be paying more in school fees soon.

The district board adopted the higher rates at a meeting Monday night.

The current residential rate of $2.24 per square foot went up to $2.63 per square foot. The commercial rate went from $.36 per square foot to $.42 per foot.

The new rates will take effect October 1.
