Sonora ,CA — A 19 year old Sonora resident is taking matters into her own hands when it comes to helping one of her former teachers.
Although Sonora High School teacher Jim Albini gave Marina Cooper a D- her freshman year, when she heard he was in critical condition following a propane explosion in July, she had to do something.
Cooper says she is organizing a car wash to help raise money for the Albini Family.
The event will take place Saturday from 9:00am to 4:30pm in the parking lot between Wal-Mart and Mervyn´s in Sonora.
Donations of buckets and hoses would be appreciated. Cooper can be reached at 209-536-1235.
