Rancho Calaveras, CA — Calaveras County has given up its right to some strips of land within the Rancho Calaveras subdivision.
The property owners association asked the board to vacate 300 pedestrian and equestrian easements but hold on to 13, which are used to access the Calaveras River and local ponds.
One property owner says the decision is not fair because users will just flock to his remaining easement for access. The board disagreed and said the issue should be resolved with the property owners association.
