Sacramento, CA — The Internal Revenue Service is getting set to hire hundreds of new employees in Northern California over the next few months.
Applications will be accepted for revenue agents, revenue officers and tax compliance officers responsible for enforcing federal tax laws.
Officials say the announcements will be issued shortly before applications are accepted.
Successful applicants will be trained in tax and business law, investigation and strategies for tax enforcement.
Requirements for consideration include United States citizenship plus a four-year degree from an accredited college or university or a combination of education and experience.
