Firefighters have contained a 165-acre grass, brush and oak fire just outside San Andreas this morning. The blaze along Willow Creek Road was sparked by a riding lawn mower yesterday afternoon, and moved rapidly in a light afternoon breeze. After dark, crews managed to get a line around 30% of the fire, and overnight it was surrounded completely.

Earlier estimates of 300 acres were revised overnight. Expect to see fire fighters and drift smoke in the area through the day, as mop-up operations continue.
