Sonora, CA — 32 year old Jason Edward Redding, described as homeless, is being sought by the Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department after fleeing Deputy Frank Derocher at approximately one o´clock this morning.
Redding is five feet eight inches tall weighing 180 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes.
Derocher had made a stop of a 1987 white Cadillac on Tuolumne Rd. North and Mi Wu St. Redding had outstanding warrants for possession of methamphetamine smoking paraphernalia and violation of probation.
Derocher had Redding step out of the car. A struggle ensued and Redding escaped on foot. 18 year old Faith Alexandria Healy of Mi Wuk was found to be under the influence of meth. She was arrested and booked into the County Jail. Two other individuals in the vehicle were released.
