Sonora, CA — Hundreds of Mother Lode residents have stomachs full of beans and Menudo prepared by Galen Mutzner and other helping hands.

Washington St was filled with a long line of eager people waiting for a free taste of Mutz´s beans.

At noon Mutzner rang the bell, and people had their cups filled with beans and hands filled with hot tortillas and bread.

Along with Mutzner and his helpers, there was an appearance from Santa along with a young group of strings players.
