Sonora, CA — A N. Tuolumne Rd. couple was surprised to discover their home was the target of a potential burglar Sunday afternoon.

Imagine arriving home and finding a foreign car in your garage. Turns out the 1979 Honda Accord was stolen from the Valley Springs area.

Once inside the couple discovered their master bedroom door was locked. They immediately contacted the Sheriff´s Department.

When deputies arrived they spotted a white male, approximately 5-11 and weighing 170 pounds with brown hair, blue jeans, a dark color sweatshirt, white shoes and a black backpack running from the residence. Deputies were unable to apprehend the individual.

Reportedly nothing was stolen from the residence. The investigation continues.
