The Sonora City Council will be considering questions involving the proposed sales tax ballot measure this Friday. Should the tax be for general government purposes, or for a specific purpose? Will it be a half-cent or a quarter-cent sales tax increase? Those are just a couple of the questions the mayor and council members will be addressing in the special meeting. It happens at 9am Friday in the downstairs conference room at Sonora City Hall.
