Calaveras County, CA — Last year 233 people sought help through Calaveras County´s Substance Abuse Program.

And now the county is spreading the word about a specialized program aimed at helping families deal with addiction.

The ongoing family education series is held on the second Wednesday of each month from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The program also teaches families techniques on how to help people with alcohol or substance abuse problems.

Calaveras County Behavioral Health Services is also working on creating a treatment program for adolescents.
