Two men have now been accused in the murder of a Jamestown man and the shooting of his girlfriend on January 27th.

27-year-old Steven Myers and 20 year old Derek Wooden made their first court appearance yesterday. The two men are suspected in the shootings of Donald Hopkins and Melissa Berry at their Jamestown apartment. Hopkins died, Berry is recovering at a hospital in Modesto. The couple€™s daughter, who was sleeping in the apartment at the time, was not injured.

Prosecutors say Steven Myers and Derek Wooden stole drugs and money from the apartment in connection with the shootings. No word on what kind of drugs or how much money. The investigation is ongoing.
