Congressman George Radanovich of Mariposa is scheduled to give the keynote address today at the 36th annual Mid-Pacific Region Water Users conference in Fresno.
The meeting at the Fresno Radisson Hotel brings together water district managers and directors from California, Oregon and Nevada.
Radanovich will tell water resource leaders at his noontime speech his highest priority for this next congressional session in Washington will be to pass sensible water legislation and work to reform the Endangered Species Act provision that, as he puts it, “often strangle our farmers and hold hostage the resources they need to survive.
