Wild morning for weather in the Mother Lode.

A strong storm cell is slowly passing over us, and with it — heavy rains and more lightning strikes in the forest.

Fire crews are watch these down strikes very carefully in Calaveras County and Tuolumne County. A brush fire has been reported already this morning in the Groveland area… Some minor street flooding has also been reported from the downpours associated with the storm.
