The week´s Mother Lode Round up activities kick into full swing tonight with the Annual Round-Up Band Review.
Bands from eleven local area schools that are participating in Saturday´s parade will march and play beginning at 6 p.m. tonight at Sonora High School´s Dunlavy Field.
The event gives parents and community members a chance to see and hear the musical performances planned by the school band for the parade.
Admission is free.
Thursday evening is the Calcutta, where folks make bids on the various rodeo teams. The fun begins at 6 p.m. at the Sheriff´s Posse Grounds on Rawhide Road in Jamestown, also free admission.
