Sunshine, blue skies, billowy white clouds and mild temperatures made a picture perfect scene in the Mother Lode near Mountain Springs Golf Club Tuesday afternoon.

Chances of rain are diminishing as the week progresses. The National Weather Service is calling for partly cloudy skies Wednesday and high temperatures near 70 degrees. Skies will be clear through the rest of the week with a chance of showers coming again next Tuesday.
