It´s already been quite a voter turnout if you look at the absentee ballots which have already been handed in.

Tuolumne County Election Clerk Tim Johnson says as of yesterday, they have received 8,536 absentee ballots, out of 13,528 which were sent out, that´s about 64 percent.

And if you still have your absentee ballot, don´t mail it in now.

You can take it to any polling place today or you can take it downtown to the County Election Office.

Johnson says they need to have possession of it by 8 o´clock tonight.
