The Modesto Police Department has identified a suspect wanted for an attempted murder on Saturday.

25-year-old Shane Smith allegedly forced his way into his victim´s home and hid in a bedroom.

When the victim came home, Smith is said to have pointed two handguns at him, and then shot him three times in the torso.

Police say the victim is expected to recover.
