Personal use fuel wood permits are now available from the U.S. Forest Service. Officials have announced that the personal use fuel wood season will be open through November, depending of road conditions in the forest. Permits are now available at forest service offices through the Timber Information Manager program.

Forest Supervisor Tom Quinn says “Once again the forest will be open for the annual wood cutting season. Our front desk customer service staffs are ready to issue permits, and help forest visitors enjoy their National Forest this spring.”
