Tuolumne County deputies are investigating the theft of a purse in Jamestown. The victim says somebody threw a rock through the window of a parked vehicle behind a Main Street business to get at it.

A break-in to a Sonora home also under investigation. The intruder reportedly took a Playstation and several accessories from the Salander Drive residence.
