Tuolumne County deputies are investigating the theft of a couple of culverts. The 12 to 18 foot long pipes were apparently loaded onto a truck with a flatbed trailer in La Grange. No suspects.

Two more businesses have found phony currency in their tills. A fake 20 dollar bill showed up at the Mother Lode Christian School thrift store, and a phony 10 was reported at the Tuolumne Frosty. Several fake bills were reported yesterday in the same general vicinity.
