Copperopolis Man In Critical Condition

Copperopolis, CA — A 22-year old Copperopolis man is in critical condition after a collision Saturday.
The CHP says Williams Thoms of Copperopolis was driving a 2003 Lincoln SUV when he lost control and ran off the road.
Thoms was flown to Doctors Medical Center where he was treated and released for lacerations.
His 22-year old passenger, Dustin Gebhard of Copperopolis, was taken to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto where he is listed in critical condition. Gebhard had been ejected from the vehicle.
The CHP says Thoms was arrested for DUI.
