Teens Injured In Rollover Crash

Two Valley Springs teenagers were injured, one seriously, after a solo vehicle accident on Covey Road. The CHP says 16-year-old Ashley Maggetti and her passenger Jessica Huante, also 16, were headed south on the gravel road when Maggetti lost control of the 2000 Volkswagen, left the roadway and overturned. Maggetti was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the car and sustained major injuries. Huante was wearing her seatbelt and suffered only minor injuries. Maggetti was flown to Memorial Hospital in Modesto.
