Cheney Stumps For Monteith

Vice President Dick Cheney will make an appearance in Fresno today for a Republican fund-raiser. Congressional candidate Dick Monteith hopes to raise at least a quarter-million dollars. Monteith and Democrat Assemblyman Dennis Cardoza are campaigning for the congressional seat being left open by US representative Gary Condit.
