Supervisors Will Look At Election Idea
Sponsored by:
Tuolumne County Supervisors meet tomorrow to discuss an idea by county resident Dixie Turzai to not hold
elections in non presidential or non senatorial years. Turzai says the county can save some money-70 thousand dollars-by not having them when those races
aren´t going on. She says elections will be more democratic and fair by scheduling them in years divisible by two or four.
Supervisors will also hear the
semi annual report on the Visitors´ Bureau and Film Commission. The meeting begins at 9am in the Supervisors´ chambers.
