Californians had little change in their Sunday activities as the nation´s military began anti-terrorist bombing
in Afghanistan. Air travel went on under the heightened security imposed during the past four weeks. Police in San Francisco went to higher states of alert.
Police officers are on-call for 12 hour shifts with NO days off. San Francisco Police Commander of Special Operations Greg Suhr said: “There´s still no cause
for alarm on the West Coast other than for us to stand ready. We´re pretty much ready for whatever is going to come.´´
