A San Francisco prosecutor has been arrested in the alleged stabbing last weekend. Assistant District Attorney Floyd Andrews posted 25-thousand dollars bail after being
arrested yesterday.
Police in San Rafael say Andrews provoked a fight with Martin Stanley of Fairfax, after seeing Stanley urinating on his fence.
Stanley remains in the hospital being treated for a six-and-one-half gash in his stomach. An attorney for the assistant district attorney has said the stabbing was in self-defense, and that Andrews suffered a broken nose and a black eye in the fight with Stanley.
