Boil Order Lifted For Water Customers

Sonroa, CA — The boil order that was in effect for six days for 500 Sonora Water Company customers has been rescinded.
General Manager Beverly Brown says residents were asked to boil their water due to a Friday vegetation fire that depleted the tested and treated water.
Now that the water has been treated, the Tuolumne County Environmental Health Department has lifted the boil order.
Brown says the boil order was in effect for customers near North Drive, Twin Pines, Sonora Trailer Lodge, Mill Villa Estates, Cedar Oaks Mobile Home Park, and Woods Creek Mobile Home Park.
