Man Charged With Lighting Three Fires In Jamestown

Jamestown, CA — A Jamestown man is facing several arson charges after being arrested July 5th.
After a lengthy investigation, officers with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and the Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department arrested 34 year old Steven Lyons.
Reports indicate he is being charged with setting two of a series of vegetation fires off of Harvard Mine Road in October and a structure fire at the Kwik Serve on Highway 108 in Jamestown on January 10th.
The fire at the Kwik Serve caused $100,000 damage to the store front.
