Soulsbyville, CA – Three individuals were arrested after a traffic stop revealed a possible stolen truck that led to a raid of one of the suspects’ Soulsbyville home, and two of the suspects face child endangerment charges.

50-year-old Frank Weiler and passenger 42-year-old Nicholas Pina of Jamestown were pulled over on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at around 2:40 p.m. by a Tuolumne Narcotics Team (TNT) detective patrolling the area of Serrano Road in Sonora. The pickup they were in had multiple vehicle code violations, including a 2002 expired registration, and the license plate and Vehicle Identification Number did not match, reported Sheriff’s spokesperson Ashley Boujikian.

A records check of the pair revealed Weiler was on parole and had a parole warrant, and Pina had four local misdemeanor warrants for his arrest. That allowed for a search of the pickup. Inside the vehicle, according to Boujikian, was a vial of testosterone, drug use paraphernalia, and other evidence indicative of drug use and sales. The pickup was later towed, as it was unclear whose it was.

Further investigation led to a parole search at Weiler’s residence in the area of Oman Drive in Soulsbyville. During the raid, deputies detained 43-year-old Michelle O’Connor from Discovery Bay. Boujikian noted that they also located a loaded, unserialized short-barrel AR-15-style rifle referred to as a ‘ghost gun’ and approximately 7 grams of methamphetamine packaged in multiple bags, drug packaging materials, and other items consistent with drug sales in a bedroom shared by Weiler and O’Connor.

“Detectives determined the drugs and firearm were unsecured and accessible to a child living in the home,” disclosed Boujikian, adding, “A further records check confirmed that Weiler and O’Connor are prohibited from possessing firearms.”

Weiler and O’Connor were arrested on multiple felony drug-related charges, including sales, possession of an unserialized firearm by prohibited persons, and child endangerment. Pina was taken into custody for his outstanding warrants.

Boujikian also advised, “Detectives attempted to contact the registered owner but were unsuccessful, and the investigation into its registration and ownership remains ongoing.”
