Calaveras Supervisors To Hear Appeal On Valley Springs Billboards
San Andreas, Ca — The Calaveras County Board of Supervisors will hear an appeal on a Planning Commission decision that denied the placement of three large billboard signs along Hwy 12 in Valley Springs.
Back on August 21, the Commission denied a conditional use permit to Rogers Media, the company hoping to construct the 128 square ft. billboards. It came after members heard concerns from community members about the growing number of signs along Hwy 12.
The Supervisors will also vote on whether to approve an agreement between Calaveras County Behavioral Health Services and Tuolumne General Medical Center for Inpatient Psychiatric Services.
Tuesday´s meeting will begin at 9am in San Andreas. Meanwhile, the Tuolumne County Supervisors are off next week.
