Sacramento, CA — California´s participation in the 12-state Mega Millions lotto will continue despite a lawsuit seeking to derail the game, state lottery officials said Thursday.
The Sacramento-based California Coalition Against Gambling Expansion sued the California Lottery Commission and its acting director, Chon Gutierrez.
The group charged that the lottery illegally entered the multi-state game without legislative approval.
