Copperopolis, CA — Calaveras County Planning Commissioners have delayed a decision on the Copper Mill mixed-use development in Copperopolis.
Planners said the reason for the continuance was to allow the public more time to review the latest version of the project´s Environmental Impact Report. During a hearing on the project Thursday, commissioners took testimony from a handful of interested parties.
Developer Castle & Cooke Calaveras propose Copper Mill to be a retail/commercial center at Highway 4 and Little John Road.
If approved by the commission the report and other entitlement documents would go to the Board of Supervisors for consideration.
The continued hearing will be held at 9 a.m. December 1.
