Camanche Reservoir, CA — A Lodi teenager is in serious condition after a near drowning at Camanche Reservoir yesterday.

Amador County Sheriff´s officials say the unidentified 17-year-old was swimming at the lake´s north shore at about 3:40 in the afternoon when he went under the water after what appeared to be a struggle to stay afloat.

Reports indicate that when the boy´s friends and family pulled him from the water, he wasn´t breathing and had no pulse.

Authorities say the boy was resuscitated by CPR on the scene before he was taken to an area hospital.
