Emergency units were on the scene of a propane tanker truck that slid off the roadway at 9:45 a.m. this morning. The rear of the truck crashed into a tree at Horseshoe Drive and Highway 4 in Calaveras County.
Authorities say the Kamps Propane truck was leaking propane gas. That has now been shut down. A witness says fire crews were spraying water on the truck to suppress any fire danger. The westbound lane was blocked for a time.
Yesterday afternoon in Tuolumne County, a propane truck rolled-over on Odd Fellows Park off Highway 108 between the communities of Sierra Village and Long Barn.
