Calaveras County deputies have a Sacramento man in custody, after a chase from Valley Springs to the Comanche Reservoir yesterday afternoon.

Timothy Daniel Stuart was wanted on several warrants, and for questioning in a couple of felony assault cases. The chase ended when Stuart rolled the stolen car he was driving, and fled on foot. The accident touched off a small grass fire.

Stuart was tracked to a North Burson Road home where he was found hiding under some aluminum in the yard. His bail is 75-thousand dollars.
