New Prison Target In Budget Debate

In California´s budget crunch, some state lawmakers are opposed to new prison spending including a large facility to be built at Delano in the San Joaquin Valley. The planned maximum-security prison Delano-Two would cost nearly 600 million dollars to build and operate, housing five-thousand inmates.
