Firefighters are still investigating the cause of a 50-thousand dollar blaze that destroyed an artist´s studio on Tuolumne Road shortly after 7:00 this morning.

Department Spokesperson Deborah Fish says artist Deana Boyd was starting to feed her animals when she noticed the flames. The fire slowed traffic at Tuolumne and Soulsbyville roads for a couple of hours. No one was hurt.
