Tuolumne County Sheriff officials have delayed denotation a small bomb found hanging from a road sign in the Groveland area until this evening.
The Calaveras County Bomb Squad has postponed the destruction of the device until around 5 p.m. Monday to make sure there are no secondary explosives in the area.
Detonation was also delayed due to winds in the area posing a wildfire risk.
Sheriffs Sgt. Roger Dittberner say Highway 120 will be closed for a short time around 5 p.m. while the bomb is destroyed. Expect some brief traffic delays between Big Oak Flat and Groveland.
