Both Sonora and Angels Camp are looking at ordinances related to medical marijuana in upcoming public meetings.

The Angels Camp City Council introduced an ordinance last week which contains proposed rules for potential business owners who´d want to open a medical marijuana dispensary.

A public hearing has been scheduled for September 21st in Angels.

Meanwhile, at tomorrow´s Public Safety Committee Meeting at Sonora City Hall, a similar ordinance regarding Medical Marijuana Dispensaries will be presented and discussed.

That meeting gets underway at 9:30am downtown.
