Firefighters responded Monday night to a structure fire on the 14300 block of Edgemont Acres Road off Mono Way in East Sonora.

Five fire engines and three water tenders arrived just after 9 p.m. last night to find the two-story home fully-engulfed. The blaze was brought under control at 11 p.m.

According to Tuolumne County Fire Marshall Karry Hubbard, the residence is a total lost.

Damages to the home are estimated at $200,000. The fire is under investigation.
