A woman died in a fire at her tri-plex home at Cypress in Orange County early today. The body of the 85-year-old Pearl Boeckler was found near the front door of the residence about 1:30 am, and she could not be revived.

Orange County Fire Authority Captain Stephen Miller said the fire may have been sparked by an electric coffee maker, which could have been left on during the night. Authorities said the elderly woman´s husband had died about six months ago.
