Portions of Mark Twain St. Joseph´s Hospital in San Andreas had to be evacuated last Friday morning because a suspicious looking package found in the facility dining room was thought to be a bomb. The Calaveras County Bomb Disposal Team was called in to x-ray the package. The box ended up containing only cardboard tubes. The evacuated areas of the hospital were reopened within an hour.
